I like to imagine that behind the layers of paint and wallpaper of old houses there may be opulent but faded works of arts, hidden for many years, waiting to be discovered. A lot of my scrapy paintings try to depict that. This time I just added a wash over the top of the colors to give the appearance of faded glory, something we are all familiar with, sooner or later.
