I wrote a review of the "new" album by Liz Harris. This actually first came out in the winter, digitally, but it's been released in other formats over time since then. Felt like I had some really good ideas that I didn't quite express as well as I would have liked, but such is the nature of the sublime. It's impossible to articulate how you feel about it, so I succeeded in that regard anyway.

To mark the passing of Joao Gilberto today, a very rough take on that classic album cover from 1963. Perhaps it has at least a little of that bossa Nova movement and spirit.
