Welcome to Goat Code. Please don't be confused or alarmed by the fact that the blog is entitled Goat Code but the url is gotecoad. It's all part of the masterplan. This blog will mostly be about music, new and old, and literature, also new and old. And there will be the occasional random cultural observation. I'm doing this because writing is important, and a community of writing about music, literature and culture is also important, and I hope I have something to offer to that big, messy conversation.
The first *real* post will be about an important and formative moment in the shaping of my musical sensibility. That also has nothing to do with "goat code." Goat Code is just some randomness that was born late one night during a time of no little delirium.
So I hope that you, gentle reader (and let's face it, there may only ever be one of you) enjoy these modest and scattershot offerings.
